1) If you NEED FFXIII graphic I don' t know what to think...

2) ... "properly" means "with FFXIII graphic". People will not be happy about a FFVII with HD graphic at level of games like Tales of Vesperia? Then SQEX is right about the impossibility of creating such a game.

Well what's the point, if they are going to do it, make the game be amazing in every way. They already have the engine anyway, and ToV is styled very differently anyway

Laziness? FFVII by today's standards is a bad game. Even with better graphics, they'd have to change the gameplay. The story is already told and concluded. I wouldn't want to waste my time remaking it either.

FFVII by today's standards is one of the best games of all time.Check any list of best games and there's a 90% chance that you'll find it in.It's an all-time classic,something like Ocarina of Time.A remake with modern graphics would be awesome,and it would sell A LOT.Too bad for that stupid movie (the spirits within) that made square go bankrupt ....After the merge with Enix Quality has been lost.And if they can't make decent games anymore,I would prefer an old one remade with new technologies used. And u say they would waste time on FFVII...well,why did they waste it remaking games for the DS like FF3?Cause it was Easy.

FFVII would look like ass in any of those artstyles, have you even played the game?
