After seeing the first 10 minutes of gameplay, I would say somewhere between 150-200k first week WW and 1 million lifetime.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY
i cant really say but it depends on if the game is short or not since there is now multiplayer,
I liked what I saw in the latest trailer so I hope it will make 1 mio lifetime.
The lack of any kind of multiplayer on a social game system will severly limit sales. I mean com'on, who doesn't want to sword fight with their friends or siblings?
400k
I dk Snake. GOW3 is bound catch alot of attention for atleast a week or two.
800k lifetime
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
I hope it reaches 1m, also because the Retro Studios Support...but without a good advertising I don't think will pass 500k WW.
Yeah, I dont see Ubisoft investing marketing into it either, just like No More Heroes 2.
I feel NMH2 will sell its way up week by week to a respectable number...
but we're talking about Red Steel 2. Hmmm well, I think a 100k opening week worldwide is fairly likely.
I hope a million lifetime, but I have a feeling 400k - 500k is more realistic, like joora.
Boy do I want to be proven wrong. (Hope for the best but prepare for the worst, right?)
considering ubisoft slashed their forecast to 500k, I have a feeling it will be left to die

Even if people want the game, this will be one of those games you can't find on store shelves. Personally I expected 1-1.5m, but considering Ubisofts grim outlook, I really don't know what to think now.
I think that it will barely eek out 1 million lifetime because Ubisoft is going to let it "die". This would be a huge hit if they actually cared. Many people are interested in a game like for the Wii Motion Plus and will pick it up, but many won't know that it exists.
