I disagree.
That game was pant-wettingly brilliant.

It only has like, 5 reviews, which somewhat unbalances the thing. Mind you, all opinion is subjective and this could be the best baseball game ever made. I haven't played it and never will.

I think its wrong for people to compare review scores for games that are totally different anyway.

I wouldn't really say that it's a flaw of Metacritic in general.

It's either a flaw of:

Reviewers rating the game too high
The game being insignificant, so there aren't a lot of reviews and diversity
Or Metacritic didn't spend enough time hunting for reviews (but again, that's due to the obscurity of the game)

I think that it's a very good indicator of what the general reception for a work is.

All metacritic does is get an average

The 5 people who played the game enjoyed it

its the reviews that are flawed and your mentality is flawed too if you care about them too much
