Hi People,
been a while since I posted. I heard a rather interesting story from a friend about the DS2 actually going to be called DreamBoy HD.
Take this with a grain of salt:
Cooperation between nintendo en sega.
comes with 50 preloaded sega games ( including sonic 1/2/3 and yes 4 ep 1 and various dreamcast games like nights)
comes with 50 preloaded nintendo games ( not much known about. Known that nintendo is making a completely new, new super mario 2 DB HD.
comes with a 2 dual core ghz cpu
comes with 4 gb of memory and 1 gb of video memory ( similair to the old wii memory kind )
comes with NO motion control ( sega did not want it ) and only one touch screen ( else the device would be to big)
Will be connectable to the wii making it output in 1080p ( the wii will actually use the video memory and videocard from the DB HD. If i understand correctly it sorta streams the game through the DB HD and then shows it on your screen.
has a screen twice the size of the DSi
Comes with a game and apps store
all games will be locked at 60 fps ( this is something nintendo wanted for quality control)
Square-enix, activision. ubisoft are working hard on the games for it. Some of them are already in development for 2 years.
Activision has an exclusive deal for 3 call of duty games for portables ( so no more psp and ds games I am afraid)
Square-enix is working on special version of final fantasy and kingdom hearts.
Nintendo and Sega are working ( together with dimps, and sonic team ( yes sorry ) on a new platformer with only sonic and mario (codename Spiked Mustach)
Ubisoft is working on a splinter cell and yes also a dogz game
Launch will be 11/11/11 ( yes yes)
