and 2,1 million ltd

FF13 should do about 550k on ps3 and 250k on 360 first week

ltd: 1,4 million (ps3) 650k (360) - 2,15 million ltd

So GoW3 will have an bigger opening but i think FF13 will outleg it, but its hard to predict.

GOW3 will do better in the beginning but in the long run FFXIII will outsell it since its a multiplat

I think your LTD prediction for God of War 3 is way off OP.

OT: God of War 3 first week 900k-1million. LTD 2.2 million
Final Fantasy XIII on both HD consoles first week 1 million. LTD 2-2.5 million

I can't see GoWIII selling 1mil first week. Maybe 600-700k? GoWII opened at around 550k on the ps2 with obviously a much bigger fanbase.

I think FFXIII will probably outsell GoWIII on the first week.

I'm just sayin. You said 2.1 LTD, when you look at the first two, God of War 1 did 3.2 million LTD and GoW 2 did 2.6 million LTD. God of War 3 should be somewhere in the middle between those games. I don't think the install base is really going to affect sells on this game at all either.

This whole Userbase bullshit is stupid.

GT3 launched at a 10 Million userbase and sold 15 million copies.

GT4 launched at a 120 million+ userbase and sold 10 million copies.

MGS4 outsold MGS3.

GT5:P outsold GT4:P and so on

GoW2 came right after the 3 next gen consoles were introduced and there was also much pirating on the ps2
