This whole Userbase bullshit is stupid.

GT3 launched at a 10 Million userbase and sold 15 million copies.

GT4 launched at a 120 million+ userbase and sold 10 million copies.

MGS4 outsold MGS3.

GT5:P outsold GT4:P and so on

 

GoW2 came right after the 3 next gen consoles were introduced and there was also much pirating on the ps2
