Medium core, I once had 400 pokemon in my pokedex (or somewhere there) Though you can use smogon.com if you truly want to be hardcore.

Ex-mediumcore softcore. I used to be really into it all the strats, but I just used it to beat the game. Now I just beat the game, as I haven't kept up with all the changes.

Edit:

Nostalgist easily. I played Sapphire, but never finished it. I also played Leaf green but other than Blue, I have never really played one.

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

actually, what the hell is a stab anyway?

It's an acronym for "same type attack bonus". For instance, when Garchomp has the choice to use either Dragon Claw or Crunch (both Physical and with 80 of base power on a Pokémon neutral to Dragon-type and Dark-type), using Dragon Claw will hand the opponent's Pokémon more damage, as Garchomp is a Dragon-type Pokémon, just like the move.

Huh, well i do know about those. Just not by that name...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I'm the Nostalgic type. Silver and Blue are some of the best games ever made, the new games can suck it :P

i think i'm a medium core and a mmo requester :b

you can view a few screenshots from the game in my photo album here; http://www.vgchartz.com/photos/album.php?album=2312

Mediumcore.

I have no use for the end-game unless it's interesting(sevii islands), but I do love trying to speed run Pokemon Fire Red multiple times a year. My best is 9 hours at the moment. I'm going to try to speed run Emerald, but it's going to be hard for me to speed run Diamond, as I don't really know it that well.

I'm really enjoying the replies. Especially the people who don't see the irony in them posting things like "There's no way you can argue the new games are better."

Good read, and creepy how right it is.

Softcore/MMO requester

Mediumcore and Nostalgist. I'm not overly obssessive with the Metagame but I do spend time making creative teams. Also, I love playing the previous games (Even though the games now are much mroe of an improvement, it was funner back then)

This is the true definition of owning.
