Btw, did you pull that 10 million of 16 million fans being kids out of your ass?

Indeed!

@Monty chill dude. There's nothing wrong with the softcore category. Does it look like it's trying to be degrading. Go back on your meds.

Wow, it's simply amazing what administrators can get away with.

Nice talking to ya!

Mediumcore. I generally like to explore and exercise quite a bit of the game's features post-elite-four, and have a strong knowledge of how the game works, though i am utterly ignorant of EVs, IVs, and STABs (actually, what the hell is a stab anyway?), and find breeding to be far more of a chore than its worth.

Even though I've never successfully IV bred any Pokemon, I consider myself a Middlecore.

I was going to make a thread like this a few minutes ago.

Thanks for saving me some work, Nazna.

really? I thought you were our resident poke-zealot...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I just want to catch em all. But Nintendo keeps making new bullshit Pokemon.

Which makes it harder every time. That's why I stopped "catching them all" after the first two. After the first two gens they just really went downhill on the Pokemon. No one can honestly say the last two gens were on par with the first two, they just aren't.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

I'm a nostalgist hardcore, yet my nostagia goes until IV Generation.

I'm a primary medium-core, secondary nostalgist who never uses legendaries :O. The reason I am a nostalgist simply because I enjoyed the older games more, but I accept every game for what they are, and I do agree that gameplay has been cleaned up immensely in the later games. Although, I will forever defend that the older generations look better >_>....

It's an acronym for "same type attack bonus". For instance, when Garchomp has the choice to use either Dragon Claw or Crunch (both Physical and with 80 of base power on a Pokémon neutral to Dragon-type and Dark-type), using Dragon Claw will hand the opponent's Pokémon more damage, as Garchomp is a Dragon-type Pokémon, just like the move.

I'm a Mediumcore-Hardcorist. I never study strategies and I'll always use Legendaries but I've spent 500+ hours on Sapphire, 100+ on Colosseum (probably more like 200+, the clock doesn't go further than 100 hours), and 40-50 some on Ruby I think.

An MMO would be cool but not necessary. I'd play it if it was in full 3D, expansive and open, and there were no online fees.

I think that makes you a Mediumcore straight-up. Hardcore are the guys who are into the metagame.

I'm agressive Middlecore.  I sometimes play Softcore and sometimes play Hardcore.  I also defend this series when I need to.

Pixel Art can be fun.
