It is sad to hear something like that come from any developer though...

The worst thing I recall Turn 10 saying was that in their opinion they don't think GT has evolved much since 2. That's not saying it's a bad game but the series stopped evolving and that's true. Only with GT5 have they updated, mostly because of Forza 2 and 3. I bet you know if those two games didn't exist GT5 wouldn't be the game it is today.

@ kiefer: all that boasting about how they are basically awesome, and every other game is pathetic (other words, but you catch my drift) is a lot worse imho than what has been said here.

But, I clearly consider FM3 to be a really good game considering the review score and I think Yamauchi should have admited it too. In clear, Yamauchi should not have said this.

It's not so much the comment it self, it's the attitude. He does sound quite arrogant.

I dont see the problem of having a thread about it or even being offended about it ...

I think it is very bad how he basically just slagged off ALL the racing developers out there in one arrogant comment, even turn 10 didn't do that.

GRID and DiRT 2 are still two of my favorite racing games of this generation, you can't have more racing fun than with these games, PGR 4 was also amazing, Forza 3 is superb, Burnout Paradise was fantastic, Pure was fun, Shift was cool, Blur looks good, Split Second is looking very good,

Thats a lot of games for him to slag off in one comment lol
