Falcon.  If you had waited until Sept. you could have got the Jasper....

That's not a guarantee, though. Using anandtech as a reference, the pro we bought in mid-2009 is a Falcon. I got more curious about it when I saw that they were still shipping out Zephyr models, though, and wanted to make sure that we at least didn't have one of those.

Usu can tell by the voltage.

Yes, the 12.1V is a guarantee, but the article there says that a few Jasper units have the old 14.2 printed on it. I saw the 14.2, so I went ahead and checked the power port, which is where I confirmed it was a Falcon. Like I said, my main relief was not seeing the 16.5 on there.

Xbox 360 Elite Falcon. It's been running since December 24th, 2007. No RROD, overheating, or any other technical problems. It's my baby :)



Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

20GB launch is dead at 6 months. (RROD) but replaced for free.

2nd 20 GB repaired once for E72 error and disc failures. 3 years or so pre-repair, almost a year post-repair.

But the drive is now shot, and I'm going to upgrade as 20GB is full and I need a new headset and controller anyway.

So I just pre-ordered the FFXIII bundle from Amazon. If I see a great deal on a 120GB before that I might cancel it and grab that, since I'm going to struggle to play pretty much XBLA only on there until March 9. Then I'm going to use the old one in the bedroom for XBLA and Netflix.



Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

@fastyxx - never heard of a e72 error, sure it wasn't 73 or 74?

Nope.  E72.  Ya know - the one that they DON'T fix for free.  :(

Some kind of memory failure, I think.

Got mine in 2006, no HDMI and RRoD'ed in 2008 send it for repairs and got back an Opus.

Weird, I honestly haven't ever seen one of those and I've worked on thousands of 360's lol.  Seen most of the other E codes (64,64,66,68,71,73,74,78,79,80) though.  They never fail to surprise me when you find yet another new fault on a 360

Mine E74'd last summer but I got it fixed for free so now I have a Opus I guess. I still want a new one since I have one without HDMI but since my old one still works I might as well wait for the Valhalla to show up.

I bought a 20 GB refurbished to replace my old 2006 prenium (rrod)... It's a surprise because it's very quiet, it not heat (or a little). I hope I will not a rrod...

 In my shop there is a 360 (20gb pro) thats works 24h on 24 for demo since two years now! impressive cause it never stopped, even at night! there is another one that I had replace after 3 months: the rrod is the russian roullette!
