Infact the X Triangle Square and Circle buttons ARE pressure sensitive. You can test it with the GT5 academy demo press gently and the acceleration will be gentle. If you mean L1 and R1 buttons you are right. 

The dualshock 3 is the best one of all Sony controllers. The first analog controller had a weird analog stick feeling. The second one was better but not perfect. the DS3 has the perfect resistance. I dont mind a new one aslong as it is as good as the DS but I also dont mind if they stick with the DS/Arc with the PS4. I am just curios, what they would come up with.

The GC Controller is also very good but it just looked ass. N64 Controller is good too not as good as the GC one but good the only big problem was the analog sticks broke after heavy use. DC Controller was one of my favorite Controllers but after playing a while especially fighting games my thumb was sore. And I just couldnt play anymore the idea with the sharp knobs was very bad. I saw once in the media markt a DC Controller which was heavily used and the knobs were polished from the heavy use. The Stick felt great in this condition the DC Controller would be together with the DS my favorit controller.

Not sure if it's been said yet but i think the controller is really designed well and that shows by how it has stood the test of time, especially considering it is an electronic device which we all know is notorious for being outdated almost as soon as it is released.

I feel there is one major advantage of the x360 controller over the dualshock however, and that is the location of the left analogue stick, it works much better being up higher where the dpad on the dualshock is. It is more comfortable in your hands and i find this provides a better experience, most notably on fps games.

The advantage of the analog stick position is a matter of opinion. I myself find the analog sticks placement on the Dual Shock to be perfect, but you can always buy a third party controller......

It's a little linty since nobidy uses it.

One simple statement.

Do not mess with the PS controller. It is the best controller in the biz! Maybe fix the triggers on the next one, but I do not need some motion controller or a big clunky one either!

How about they fix the bottom triggers to make them act more like triggers? That would be a big plus to me.

They definitely need to change. I remember really disliking the original PS1 controller and it was uncomfortable especially compared to the awesome Saturn controller. I kind of got used to it playing on the PS1 for awhile though and then Sony goes and screws everything up again by tacking on 2 analog sticks to screw everything up again.

I've never been a fan of the Dual Shock controllers, PS1/PS2/PS3 as they're pretty much the same thing, give or take.

Change it back to the PS2 L2 and R2.... that's all Im asking.

Why are those two the only poll options we have? I absolutely hate the Playstation controller design, but I absolutely think they should keep it.

How about they go and make them real triggers instead of these mushy buttons they are now?

The PS2 controller didn't have any semblance of triggers on it.  Triggers work better for FPS games and also driving games.
