How does this game compare to Metroid Prime 3? I'm really into it, and definitely getting RE:UC too.

The single player has nothing on MP3. At all.
That said, the multiplayer's pretty great. I still think MP3 is a better game, but Heroes 2 has more replayability. I don't think you'll get tired of it any time soon, and the controls really are as good as they say, just make sure you take some time to figure it out. Everyone is "sick of WW2 shooters" but this game's fun no matter what background it's set against.

Get it and meet those of us who got it online.

Up to 32 players online in 1 map, right?! Is it anything... If so, i'll be picking it up after the holidayseason for 30 euro's...

Yeah, up to 32 players depending on the server of course. Some servers are smaller than others, but almost all of them I've seen have been at about 20+. At first I thought that the maps were way too small, but they are deceptively large, even the Sewers map.
