I don't think Gears 3 would launch along side a Halo sequel. Next year is definitely a possible though.

Nothing agaist Gears but Halo is really MS golden goose.  Gears 2 still hasn't outsold the first one so the franchise really isn't that strong.

I was very disappointed in the 360´s lineup last year, but this year more than makes up for it.

360 slim will be out this year.

Halo Reach, Natal, Splinter Cell Conviction, Fable 3, Crackdown 2, Alan Wake, and Mass Effect 2 make this year huge. Who knows, maybe they'll surprize us with Gears of War 3? I'm not expecting much from Metro 2033, it could though be a very good game but we don't know much about it yet.
