I thought this was a cute little chart. I was surprised to see that prior to Win7, MS was making more money from Office than they were from Windows.

Interesting.  The guy didn't update the axis after adding the Dec timeframe.  Good find ringo.

And I'll add that MS's server business is growing. If Linux is threatening MS's server business, it sure doesn't show in the profit margins.

Very interesting, really puts things into perspective. The only way MS could ever be in trouble is if someone truly competitive enters both the OS and Office market. It makes the E&D division seem like nothing more than a hobby, lol.
