Yeah but the thing is (this is the honest truth, not trolling) on Xbox you'd get a ton of 13 year olds with no social life who just play CoD against the "casual" gamers on the Wii who don't play games that much; so even if IR pointing was theoretically better then joystick the Wii fanbase probably wouldn't stand a chance.

On topic thought cross-console online would be epic. I'd love to dominate some of my 360 friends while on PS3 and vice versa!

A chance at what? Maybe a chance at dying....because the Wii owners would get raped. The skill level of owners between consoles is staggering. Hardcore FPS lovers are not playing on the Wii.

Of course, all the hardcore FPS players are on PC. An infinitely better interface and the most hardcore gamers around... hmmmm...

like all you views, believe it or not but some of the wii users are really good players (on waw and reflex) id put my money on 360 users though. Glad most of you would find it fun Another idea would be to only let the top 100k ranked players to compete over the weekend for each console (or PC) would keep you even more addicted to grab a spot
