When will it be the very last day of the PS2?... any one knows?...the reason Im asking cuz Im thinking about buying another PS2 for back up. I already had one a Slim PS2 that works fine. havin a spare is a great idea don't you think?

I think after this Christmas it will officially be all over. Software is pretty much nonexistent anyways at this point. I personally only imagine buying 3 more games for it ever again.
Buy another one if you want. By 2012, all the software you missed out on and may still want to play will be pennies on the dollar on Amazon.

I just got Silent Hill: Shattered Memories last night, and loving it. I had so many PS2 games love em as well..... don't wanna take a chance having a broken PS2 and got tons of games for nothin', knowwhatimean.
The PS2 is an immortal beast, and this renders your question illogical.
In reality though, sometime after the upcoming Christmas. I will have to think up some suitable sendoff, like a 21 gun salute.
