I thought this about Forza 3, not Gran Turismo 5?

Nothing better than judging a RACING SIM before it comes out, right? How does that make any sense...

Two years is a very reasonable amount of time. If there is a big enough demand, people will buy them every year. Such as Mario games, Call of Duty, etc.

I would count the GT Prologue games as a release. They are sold for money and are ultimately different from the final release.

you really think games like COD are gonna survive?

yeah they will be hits for the next 2-3 years but what after that,every market gets exaterated and this definately gonna happen to COD.

How do you know? Did you played both games? (I doubt you played Forza 3, so I don't know what you are doing here to begin with, perhaps just trolling?)

More years = nothing. Look at the PSP version of Gran Turismo. They promised a great game for the PSP but in the end, this game has no campaign mode (one of the best things about the GT series).

Like it or not, F3 is technically the best racing sim so far and GT5 isn't out yet, so you can't compare both games yet.

PSP versin,oh believe me they didn't do their job on the GT PSP.it was just to push PSP Go,they never really were developing PSP.you really think a perfectionist like Polyphony Digital would create a title like this lacking things

Strong words coming from someone who probably hasen't even played F3 or GT5.

GT5,how do i play that.i played the GT5 time trial and that was great.

 

Forza 3,i have only played it at my friends house 2 times.its great and looks awesome.i was just saying GT5 will be better.

Forza 1 and GT4 came out at the same time. Forza 1 was the more realistic game.

Since then we have had Forza 2. And now the fantastic FM3. GT5 imo to be 80% better firstly needs to do things FM2 was doing. GT5P didnt even have 360 HZ physics but only 120!? This has major ramifications doing speeds where physics are concerned.

I'd rather Polyphony get dry racing right first before they attempt wet. And what happens when FM4 is released in Holidays 2011. GT6 will be 4 years away from that, and the rate that Turn 10 improve every iteration GT franchise will be far behind when FM4 hits. I cannot stress enough how good the tyre deformationand aerodynamics are in FM3. Doing a 30 lap race is so much more than peddle to the medal. It's looking after your tyres, keeping your tyre temps up for grip, dealing with fuel weights etc. GT5 MUST have this to even compare for realism. And all realtime tyre deformation. Realtime.

I love that Turn 10 dont make us wait 4-5 years for each update. Especially when the updates are as impressive as they are.

more realstic,it was level.and forza wasn't as big and expansive as GT.

and Turn 10 was bullshiting everyone around FM3's release about GT is shit and FM is the best.just tells you how cheap a dev they are.I would love to see when they get it in the face when GT5 beats their game.

 

FM4 in 2011,you urself believe they are going to release another game next year without any great improvements.This is how you take a franchise into pits.

 

and no way GT6 will be 4 years away,you think they will release the next GT its in PS4 cycle.the engine is fully developed,they will release it in 2012 ending.
