I had the same problem. I figure theres just too many good Wii games coming out this year to risk on a half assed effort from SE.

8th gen predictions. (made early 2014)
PS4: 60-65m
WiiU: 30-35m
X1: 30-35m
3DS: 80-85m
PSV: 15-20m

If you don't expect a RPG, than you may get it.
Despite the Final Fantasy name it is an Action-Adventure. It heavily involves the IR-pointer functionality of the Wii. I think it is not a bad game. However I haven't finished it yet, so I can't say how long it is.

I recently finished it and here is my 2 cents...

The game is an adventure (not an rpg). The world itself is quite large and varied with plenty to see but hollow in substance and content, some nice ideas but not developed enough..As for story its in the realm of the usual amateurish stuff but who plays games for stories anyway? Graphically the game is very pretty, one of the best efforts on wii.. The music is nothing special save a couple songs.. What really brings it down is the action ( or lack thereof ).. There is one battle per area which u have to clear in a set time( 5 minutes?) Doesn't matter if you defeat all the monsters or not the battle will repeat itself over and over again. Some of the battles are actually very entertaining and its a shame there are so few of them.. I did not complete the game 100% but did a bunch..took me around 18 hrs to finish.. All in all i would recommend a weekend rent or eventually buy it when the price comes down as there isn't much to go back to.. Hope it helps..

Cheers ill think ill leave it for now, im getting Silent hill shattered memories next month just bought tatsunoko vs capcom and the arcade stick, wanting monster hunter 3 when thats comes out to name a few

get it sometime.i beat it.Is fun and amusing . the graphics were top notch , of course, i expected greater and more epic elements ,a deeper combat system .Layle gets stronger if you craft gear, which is the beef of the game. But is not needed. It usually looks better than TP for instance so its a shame its not a bit more fun.I suggest it, down the road. You can have some hours of good fun with it.

I had the same thought actually as the OP but let me phrase it this way:

What in your opinion is the correct price to pay for FF:CC:CB?

30 is fair, i paid full price, dont regret it since i managed to replay it for quite sometime. But while i feel No More Heroes 2 was fully worth the 50 or 60(due to extra taxes abroad US), i dont feel it was all propper for CB.its production values are up there! but the gameplay is a bit shallow!it was an expensive game to make but it was not fulfilled.

IMO, the only flaws are all the traveling and backtracking. The game itself is short and battling enemies can get repetitive. Again, this is my IMO. The game was still alright to me.

It is a decent game. I think it worth the full purchase. Just don't expect something RPG like. and the story is actually decent for CC game. I would give the game a 8/10.
