I know. :p I just wanted to be a little obvious. I'm disappointed in them this generation as well. You know it's bad when the best game that a company has released this generation is a remake of an older game....x.o;; that's my opinion at least. Maybe TWEWY but I've never actually played it. 

Yep. TWEWY is the best and most original Square Enix game this Gen...its not a bad thing since the game was really good, but there Console "efforts" have not been going so well this Gen. You should get it, I'm sure you'd like it!

Didn't actually mean for that to sound like a dig or anything.  It's just about what I expected.  Big FF and DQ games while trying a couple new things yet oddly ignoring a number of oldschool franchises that still have some kick in their IPs.

It's not optimium sure... but they could do worse.

I am terribly disappointed with SE - mainly due to all of their lies this generation.

First they implied that FF13 was a PS3 exclusive, which it isn't. Then they said they would develop the 360 version after the PS3 version was completed, which didn't happen. Then the graphics were downgraded, when in general they should have improved as the game engine was optimized. Then the game became very linear (most likely to eliminate disc swapping during gameplay). Then they messed with the title song.

FF13 has gone from a day-one purchase, to a used game purchase or no purchase at all.

Their other releases have been sub-par in my books. And I don't mind the remakes (I actually enjoy playing them), but I think they're priced much higher than they should be.

I'll be disappointed in Square-Enix until they give me Chrono!! I would also imagine anyone that paid 600 for their PlayStation 3 would be disappointed in them as well!!

My two favorite SE games so far this generation have been a remake and a port of games released two generations prior... back when they were still Squaresoft and Enix.

why be dissapointed? They are just doing what they need to do in order to stay financially healthy If that means a slight decrease in quality and going multiplat , so be it.
