The demo of DI reminded me of the first GoW. Plus the fact it takes you 4 to 6 hours to beat a game you pretty much played 6 years ago with a terrible story probably did it in too.

Don't think so. Many people probably think the game is a rip off. I love GoW but still plan on buying Dantes.

Dante's Inferno is to God Of War what Saints Row is to GTA.
It is a quality game that just isn't quite as good as the game its trying to be. In the end the game benefits from the comparison because many buyers will pick it up just because its similar to their favorite franchise.

Your best argument against 16 new tracks is just to ignore it and call them "rehashed"? Come back when you can actually argue the point. The only downgrade from DD is the loss of the 2-person kart gimic, and super powers (which I do miss slightly), however the addition of customizable gameplay, bikes/tricks and excelent motion controls surely makes up for it.

As for NSMBWii, we can debate this forever, but when NSMBWii passes 25m and still selling people might finally realize how great of a game it truely is. As for not holding a candle to SMB3, that is just ludicrious as SMB3, SMW, and NSMBWii are all phenominal games.

Sorry but I don't remember that many tracks not being an old track from a different mario kart game or simply a reverse of another track. There didn't feel like there were hardly that many fresh tracks. At least in DD the majority of them felt fresh and the gameplay was FAR better as well. This is just my opinion.
