This is US Retail you're talking about, hardly worth mentioning. Remember when Crysis only sold 87k in it's first month in US, then to reach 1 millions sold in just 45 days worldwide? US is but a small fraction of worldwide sales on PC. Plus there's also the DD sales.

For all we know, Dead Space 2 might have already reached 500k even. Anyway, only EA knows how much it sold.

It's a good decision, just like they did with Dante's Inferno. Too many cheap pirates like me on the PC (yes, I enjoyed Dead Space for free lol).

Or maybe it's the fact that Dead Space 1 was a steaming pile of consolized crap?! They're doing right with Dante's Inferno because it's a console-centric game from a console-centric genre.

lol if you say so. Maybe you're right. But in that case Resi 5 on PC is crap too because I actually finished Dead Space while I quit Resi 5 after just a couple of hours.

Shame.

I've enjoyed the first one so far, but only because I have a 360 controller to play it with and I took the time to get it to actually work (seriously, EA, why do you make me choose between 150-250 fps with epic screen tearing, or 30 fps?).

Oh well, plenty of other things to play anyhow.
