yeah i expect alot of shortages
I hate when people say that the sellers on ebay are screwing people. ITS AN AUCTION!!! You have to bid on the price, nearly every single Wii on there started at $0.99 or $250 (for the inexperienced ebay sellers who don't realize that it will still sell for $350-425 regardless of the starting price).
Consumers are picking their own price. If they are too lazy to get up early and stand in front of a store to find stock, then they can pay more and casually buy it on ebay. No one is getting screwed.
I plan on doing the same thing this weekend. I am going to go to a few stores early, get 2-3 Wii's and sell them on Ebay in one day to make an quick $200-300. I am helping the lazy and making some extra money on the side. It's not like I'm getting the product in a shady way that excludes these ebay shoppers. They had the exact same opportunity to go early as I do. They choose not to and then choose to spend more on the same thing.
if you want to see a wii on ebay good luck, I would do if I could find one, there no where to be seen.
on the other hand I do feel bad about it too because I guess mums and dads are desperate, funny thing is that I got mine of ebay, I thried to get one last xmas and no luck so I got one in March from ebay I just could not find one anywhere, I paid £230 back then
I spent three days back in February hunting a Wii before I got one.
If I had the right credit card with me yesterday I could have bought two at Toys R Us. You just have to keep trying. I guarantee I will buy some by this sunday.
