I know it's off topic, but whatever, it was bullshit that they put so little in Sims 3. It would be bad enough if it were just so little they included and then later allowed you to download the additional stuff, but the fact you could nearly double what you started with day 1 was bullshit, especially when Sims 2 came that amount of content.

I've been debating whether to get the Sims 3, so it isn't worth it?

i never played the sims 2 at all. (not even on pc) so i didn't know. but i liked the first sims so im kinda interested in this

If they make a version that comes with most of the DLc it is, otherwise, stick with the Sims 2.  Out of the box you get next to nothing.

Have yo even tried out the create-your-own design thing.

Paraphrasing something I read somewhere, the clothes, furniture, and all that stuff act as a template. Designing it yourself allows for far more stuff than the Sims 2 was ever possibly capable of.

Or maybe you're just lazy.

hope its a straight pc port for the Hds or close to it the sims from last gen where nowhere near the quality or content of even sims1 on the pc they didnt even have 2 floors for gods sake

That's great. I loved the first Sims. Never really played the others.

I just wish they would port Spore on console. I didn't really liked the game on PC but I think it would fit better on console.
