I'm 18. The law in the United States states you must be at least 21 years old to drink =/
I take most opportunities I can to get drunk, same with getting stoned - but the opportunities are far less frequent.

You never mentioned how old you were so i was just confused. Also in other news it snowed all day and now Washington DC gets more snow.
I'm way too self-indulgent with "all the above."
Believe me, I'm fully aware of the repercussions of my actions, but I've certainly enjoyed myself in the process.
So, I guess you could say I don't regret it, yet I don't encourage anyone to do things outside of their comfort level.
We all just have different ways to attain satisfaction I suppose.
GETTIN' CHRONOCRUNK
I drink because I like it, although I do it in phases. Sometimes i'll have beer or glass of Henn everyday and other times i'll go dry for a few months because I feel like i'm spending too much money on alcohol.
I smoked nicotine because I enjoyed it and stopped doing it because I felt I was getting addicted to it and there was a noticeable difference in my lung capacity after a few months.
I smoked weed because I enjoyed it and stopped when my current job contract ended and I didn't want to ruin a possible job opportunity by failing a drug test.
I don't smoke anything.
I drink maybe once every two months socially, never in excess though.

I agree 100% man. Live life for yourself.

I don't.
Smoking is obvious I think. I see no upsides whatsoever. Cost, lesser health, the stench. Ew
I consider both alcohol and drugs to be bad, though on different levels, and they do have a few things in common.
a) They skew your perception of reality. I don't want my life enhanced (for better or worse) with illusion. I know people have fun being drunk or high, but I don't want that. I won't try to escape life with it and I won't try to improve my life with it either, not even for a single night.
b) It's bad for you. I'm aware that a small bit of alcohol from time to time can be healthy, but I'm willing to live without that. Overall, I value my brain, liver and sleep cycle over being drunk or high and partying away in the night. Not to mention the time it takes for them to leave your system again.
c) They're costly. I spend enough money on videogames already, and I certainly think they are of higher priority than drinks and drugs
Those are pretty much my reasons for doing what I do.
