Well the mouse forced 50% of the world to change over to off-hand masturbation. Natal will free people to use whichever hand they like, or both. That's pretty revolutionary, and liberating, don't you think?

He makes very valid points. People refer to this as hype. Really?

When Natal was shown, people said " How will FPS work with that? " I said exactly what Molyneux has said 6 months ago. If you have to ask that question, you are not thinking out of the box. And thank god people who design new tech do no think that way.

FPS's as they are now were designed with the limits of a controller or mouse. With Natal FPS's wont exist, but will evolve into a new genre. Something much more advanced than say a lightgun game. New tech requires new genres and thoughts.

With this Molyneux is spot on.

People discounting Natal should take a look at the book Fumbling the Future: How Xerox Invented, then Ignored, the First Personal Computer which basically tells the story of how Xerox invented the first personal computer (mouse, graphic user interface, etc) only to have some people in management not understand how significant it was or the impact it would have on the future.

So basicly, Natal is as revolutionary as the first Personal Computer (mouse included). Sweet!
