Hi,

So I'm going to make a confession here, I've not played ANY of the Star Ocean games... (Not sure if that's good or bad)

But since I heard about Star Ocean: The Last Hope, I decided to check it out, and thought it looked cool etc.

The reason I didn't buy it at first though, was because there was a rumour going around about it coming to the PS3 eventually (Like every other JRPG, eh?) so I decided to wait out on it.

And now it's finally coming (5 days for me!), I'm REALLY wanting to pick it up, but I'm not sure if I'll fully understand the story after not playing the other three.

I know it's a prequel, hopefully to the entire series, but afterwards, I'd like to know which order to play the games in (I'll buy the other three obviously, although I and II will have to be the PSP remakes, tell me, is there any difference, are they completely different or just an enhanced port?)

I'd assume the order is 4, 1 ,2, 3, but I could be completely wrong... can anyone clarify?

Ah, so I was right afterall, yay me, haha.

Can anyone talk about The Last Hope please, like, is it as good as I think it looks? Should I buy it or just miss out on the series anyways, is the series up to the standards of say, Final Fantasy? Although I know the Battlesystem is different (And looks GREAT).

Any comments on this please?
