Without a doubt the PS3 version is the definitive version. But it wont matter to much. Differences are only a bit sharper according to IGN.

well, this means theres absolutely no reason for a PS360 owner to buy the 360 version,

No multiplayer, so LIVE advantage gone

PS3 has better cutscenes, and visuals overall...

No need to swap discs

Just like there is no reason for them to get 95% of multiplats on the ps3?

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

Absolutely. Only other thing is collection or Achievements. I know people with both consoles that are getting the 360 version purely because all their Square Enix games are on the 360. ( Alot of JRPG's on 360 ) + Achievements are so addictive. They have more achievements than trophies.

last time i checked, most multiplats are pretty much the same on PS360, except for a few special cases, like Bayonetta..

So its most definitely not 95%...As selnor said achievements are addictive , PS360 owners who owned a PS3 first and is addicted to trophies, PS360 owners who don't have LIVE and all will buy PS3 versions...

So...no..

The back of the box for the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII has revealed that the 360 version of the game will utilize Bink video, likely for compression of the game's many cutscenes.

The Bink Video logo is displayed clearly on the back of the box. Bink have special video tools designed for the Xbox 360 and they have been used in RPGs such as Borderlands, Mass Effect and Square Enix's The Last Remnant. The Japanese PS3 version of FF13 did not use Bink.

The Bink webpage indicates that the codec will show 720p video. The Japanese PS3 version of the game had the game's 40+ minutes of FMV encoded at uncompressed 1080p.

US retailer GameStop released the image of the back of the box, which also suggested the game will have Downloadable Content.

This shows the power of blue ray: will it have a 22 minutes 5GB installation like bioshock?

http://thegamingliberty.com/index.php/2009/11/27/no-install-on-final-fantasy-xiii-ps3-confirmed/

not a question, sorry dude.

I was showing the awesomness of blue ray and how you didn't start a thread to say Bioshock2 in x360 is the definitive version.

Did you see one like that?

well, that is because no one cares, read sign.

Maybe it's the fact that Sony was once on top of the mountain in this industry, and the fall from grace has been swift and brutal. The worst thing about being on top is the fall to the bottom, and maybe the transition from PS2 dominance to PS3 heel-dragging has had a damaging effect on the fanboy psyche, leaving them vulnerable and insecure. Maybe fanboys are suffering from a severe case of paranoid delusion, brought about by denial that the PS3 is in third place when once Sony was leading the charge.

Not too big of a difference, so Xbox 360 owners won't really mind this.

Odd. Future. Wolf. Gang. Kill. Em. All. OFWGKTA Don't give a fuck!

Fuck Steve Harvey. FREE EARL!

Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be the GREATEST game EVER made!!!

I'd take a bullet for Square-Enix!

So it doesn't really matter which version people get.

Already decided to get xbox version a long time ago.

If i lose access to this profile as well....I'm done with this site.....You've been warned!!.....whoever you are...

Happy Wii60 user. Me and my family are a perfect example of where hardcore meets casual and together mutate into something awesome.

At least 90 % of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference side by side. Its similar to that you could compare "uncompressed CD audio" to a compressed "MP3, WMA, AAC". The average person doesn't even know or care even if you pointed out the differences.
