About those MGS games they are almost never 10 hours and if you skip the games movies you do it less than 5 hours.

About FF. Even the first FF's are hard to beat in 25 hours. FFX is the game that I spended the most time on around 300 hours. I loved that sphere grid (better than level up system in my opinion).

Compare the things in the press about both games: from IGN, "if you own a playstation, you owe it to yourself to buy this game" (end of the video review) from others, this is the most fun I've had all year and similar stuff like that
Asssassins is very buggy it seems although some like it a lot. I would wait until Ubsioft have patched it

Personally, I will import Uncharted, and borrow Assassins from a friend or rent it

Is it my computer or are IGN movie reviews so slow. It takes almost 20 minutes before whole the video is streamed (on GT it takes less than one minute).

@ konichiwa I just leave them alone and forget about them for a while whilst a do something completely different

this is a great title to own for ps3 fans,possibly a must own
