Just checked it out on Metacritic. It looks like it might make it into the 90's range.

the first one won GOTY on various major websites, and stands in the mid 90s on meta..

this one won't make it up there, based on the current trend, Game informer said its basically a worse experience than the first throughout most of the game, but ends up getting good near the end, which is why they gave it an 85

This will score lower than the first Bioshock for sure. The first one scored pretty damn well.

Because I have not read Gameinformers review I do not know what is unsatisfying about it. So far complains have been that the graphic boost isn't impressive and that it's almost exactly like the first one (AKA sequal). This game in particular seems to aim more towards the fan of the series and isn't too focesed on drawing people into it, which I personally don't give a ratsass about. So if you don't like the first one, you won't like this one because it wasn't made to please you.

Here's the IGN video review of the game. And to me, the graphics still look amazing. I don't understand what the problem is that people are having with the graphics boost not being that high. What are people expecting? Sure, I'd like better graphics, but honestly, the 360 is over 4 years old and the PS3 is over 3 years old. The two systems are nearly maxed out. You can't really expect that hugh of a boost, if any at all. It probably looks better on PC, anyway.

Day one buy. I loved the original. And I'm sure I'll love this one.
