Forums - Sony Discussion - Square-Enix made an announcement at Taipei Game Show 2010

Today is the first day of Taipei Game Show 2010 in Taiwan, and SCET (Sony Computer Entertainment Taiwan) invites the develop team of

FFXIII to attend the show. And they've announced that they'll release traditional Chinese version of FFXIII for PS3 in Taiwan this year.

It's the first FF game which has an official traditional Chinese version...

(but still....no information about 360 version in Asia)

Ask me about being an elitist jerk

Time for hype

1.3 billion market!!!!

FF XIII Ripoff announced !!!

No...it's traditional Chinese version...this language just used in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao.

In mainland China..(the 1.3 billion one...) use simplified Chinese..and they doesn't get an

PS3 official release in China.

One more thing...we all know that you can't play pirated game on PS3 now.

So there's no "ripoff" or "modchip" or "pirate" thing on PS3...

(Metal Gear Solid 4 has sold over 10k first week in Taiwan....and at that time...

Sony just sold about 40k~50k PS3 in Taiwan...)

^^
Dude he was kidding !

I don't think people buy ps3 games in Taiwan. Been to many stores in Taiwan and there are no set prices on games and they are usually expensive. People still love the arcade there!

All the multi-platform game...PS3 version sold better than 360 version in Taiwan.

If you're counting the hardware sales..yeah, maybe 360 sales better than PS3..

(because you can play "different" version on 360. )

But software sales......PS3 wins.
