Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Will The Grinder ber the first Wii-sourced, HD second multiplatform game?

Yeah. I think this news is great both ways.

In a perfect world, we'd all need one console. *sigh*

Assuming that world wouldn't have the gouging and lack of quality that no competition breeds.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Not sure if its the 1st, but we'll have to wait N see if more developpers adopt this philosphy

oh, right.

Well, I say this is good news. I'm really interested int he comparisons between Wii and HD.

I know for a fact that the Wii was the lead platform for High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance

That's what worries me about it being multiplatform. Wii suddenly becomes an afterthought.

What? How can something which was the first thought, be an afterthought?

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

When/if the other versions end up with more features.

That is the main question. And with a game that won IGN's E3 honors in 2009 being delayed until 2011 -- that seems to me a lot of retooling (and possibly a lot of Wii ignoring).

PS -- By that date, the game will probably not fare well anywhere.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

even if the grinder was made for the HD primarily, no one would care, cause HVS makes average at best games. They should stick to the Wii, where their average games become "good" for being exclusive.
