I just picked up the 2 DLC packs for ME and started a New Game+ to play them. Do I now need to finish the game to get my choices into ME2, or will it look at my save history and pick my last finished game?

Please tell me I don't have to do the whole game again as I'm picking up ME2 this weekend and don't want to have to wait any longer to play it.

It only looks for characters that finished the game. If you want those bonus missions to pick up in your ME2 game, you either have to start your game over or load a save before you start the final mission where you can't go back.

No it will let you pick any character you've started finished a campaign with. Your totally good to go :) have fun the game is a BLAST!

You sure about that?  I've started Mass Effect like five times and it only let me choose the character I finished the game with.

Well for mine it gave me ALOT of different characters to pick. Any characters that finished the game can be chosen.

You clearly have to finish the game (most of the game altering choices are later in the game). The pre-determined choices in a completely new game of ME2 sucks.

^^I have finished the game, thrice. I just don't want to have to wait 'til I've done it again.

^ yeah your fine then. It will let you pick each character that finished the game and give you a rundown of each of the choices that character made so you can pick the one that works best for you
