Think about it, some people cant play them because its rated M, and some people want it because of teh boobs...so how does it affect sales?

Well for me, digital creations of nudity have never done too much for me. Most of the time they just aren't sexy. But, I don't mind when they show a little skin if ya know what I mean, but keep it at teasing (like the Dead or Alive games do so well haha) and yea probably influences my buy a little bit. I mean obviously, when choosing between 2 games that are rather similar, I'd be more apt to buy one with some attractive women in it showing it off than not.

depends on who the target audience is obviously. If you make a porn game it's gonna help a lot, if you make onechan barabara zombie slayer it will help, if you add nudity to wii sports it's gonna hurt it badly. Some games are kinda in the middle like GTA, that's the grey area.

it hurts, because it changes the demographic. Unless of course the demographic matches up in the first place, in which case, it improves sales.

dude you can't mix heavy rains boobs to gow3 or Dante's infer........ gow3, boobs, 2 totally different boobs, nudity in heavy rain (yes that's one of the main reasons why I'm buying it, F**k you I'm a guy) is no more than an extension of the story, those luscious tits compliment the story, and helps the MATURE atmosphere this game is sooo nailing. So teh boobs have no effect on sales, the game without them would still sell the same (omg Madison is so hot). those under age people wouldn't want to play heavy rain regardless, now Gow3 is different, those are boobs for boobs sake, you take the boobs out amongst other things (gore), lowering the rating, then yeah you would probably get A LOT more sales.

If the nudity is done well then it shouldn't effect game sales. Nudity just so the developers can say "look here boobies!!!" usually leads to bad games/poor sales as the game becomes M rated, hardcore gamers can't take it seriously and casual gamers have better, easier access to nudity elsewhere anyway...

If it makes sense within the context of the story, then there's nothing wrong with it. Nudity for the sake of nudity is just immature.

And besides, a computer generated character is never going to match the real thing...
