What have I become? I became so annoyed by the discourse in this thread that by the time I posted that, I literally forgot that was how he phrased it; for some reason thought he just said that Mass Effect 2 was better than UC 2. 

I hate the 'you're a fanboy if you disagree with me' move. Statement redacted.

Seriously though I agree with selnor. All this article illustrates is the writer prefers western RPG's over action adventure, nothing else really.
Not saying that it is the case with him but that is all anyone can logically deduce based on the points he offered.

Please tell me someone gets my point. My point is not everyone likes ME2's genre of games or Uncharted 2's genre of games. So my point was it's preference. You cant compare the 2. They appeal to different gamers. Some people will like both genres. Please re read the original post.

Why didnt you just say it like that then. I agree with you. Both games are the best for their genre, and some will like one one better than the other.

If that's so, why didn't Oblivion, Fallout 3, or other games within the genre score like Uncharted 2? On that same note, why wasn't Uncharted 2 compared to those same games in an article?

This writer made this article for hits & attention. I'll give him one thing though, he got what he wanted, but also is proving why many readers, including some on this very site, have lost a lot of respect for that site.

Those games are on the PS3.

In other news, I think MGS is better than Splinter Cell....but you definitely don't have to deal with it because its my opinion and yours may differ.
