I liked Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, so why not as long as they get Nintendo to do the platformer, i wouldnt trust Team Sonic with such platformer.

But seriously, I've been waiting for a game like that ever since Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was re-released on the GCN. I would be optimistic about this, cause I know it can be pulled off with the right developers!

As much as I would, it seems as if it would be too hard to blend the 2 gameplay styles. I suppose you could maybe transport one of the 2 to the other's world, and have gravity affect the speed/movement of one of the two. Or maybe meld the 2 world's together and have a level, or part of a level, with one of the platforming stars and then the other.

If it will be done, it should be done like Sonic Adventure 2. The story meshes them together, but ultimately they each have their own sets of levels. It would be part 3D Mario, part 3D Sonic, and go even further (Luigi, Tails, Knuckles, Wario?)

I second that. Actually I was about to say the same thing. But if it was developed by both it would be better. Cause then they could put all their ideas together and make one ultimate platform game.

and then whoever said they should make a Mario and Sonic RPG, GOLD. I second that idea. But it would have to mainly be developed by Square Enix.
