Ok it's settled, nintendo cleaning kit it is.
Your Wii has been melted from within. Nothing can save you.
Try the cleaning kit. The lens gets too dirty to handle the dual-layered discs. You'll be amazed at how much nasty junk comes out of that thing when you clean it the first time. It's a disc with a handle on it. You squirt a few drops of cleaner on it, put it in the Wii, and the Wii pulls it in. But the handle sticks out, so you move it side to side a few times, and then press eject. It will be dirty as hell, and your Wii will work as good as new.

'smoke' is how i get a 5 to 1 k/d ratio in cod
its my performance enhancing drug!
but yeh maybe this is why im also the red ring king . . .
it takes a lot of skill to roll and smoke a two paper, while on a ten kill streak.
This also happened to me a lot until I eventually cleaned the Wii's lenses.
SSBB sometimes does this also.
"The Common Cold Isn't So Common During The Cold"
I'd test Brawl first to make sure, being the only other dual-layer game that i am aware of.
