He does bring up a good point: Unfounded hype is a terrible thing.
But the ME2 hype was different, in that the fans themselves were building the hype. EA helped a bit, sure. But we did most of the work in that regard. It also helped that the game is a critical, commercial, and hype success.
But the thing in the link... Is weird. It basically says companies solely buy the hype. That all highly rated game are bought through buying reviewers out.. Then the small reviews sites that don't pay give their true opinion... Ha... hahahahahahahaha.
If anything, a not well known site could purposefully give the game a bad score to get traffic.
He also said that the game was just decent.. Maybe he should do his homework on a game next time, and maybe, I don't know, play the prequel that makes the experience more enjoyable.
Did anyone else read that garbage?
