at least 2 were for the website (ie whatever was profile 1, plus Broshnat/ioi).
3 of them are deleted or innaccesible (profile 1, Broshnat and whatever was profile 6).
Of the 6 accessible profiles 4 haven't been online since 2006, 1 hasn't since 2007 and 1 hasn't since 2009.

Now my serious contribution to this thread... I remember well when I once bumped into this side when I searched console sales in 2007, but sadly I did not bookmark it or remembered its name, then in the middle of 2009 I somehow found this side again, without having a account I spend some time reading some posts until someone provoked my urge to post something stupid, which made my join this side in Sep 2009, spending most of my time wallposting with invisible29, playing Dissidia with lestatdark, and playing in several Rounds of VGC Mafia, I remember once trying to upload a pic for a game, which failed ultimatly at my stupidity to choose the right pic on my HDD forcing me to beg a mod to remove the pic again. Even without this thread, I somehow felt welcome on VGC^^

So now I will thank this great sides inventor and founder ioi, and all the mods for their great work and never baning me ;P

Hmm, just started checking them out, but the early versions of VGChartz.com (such as the awesome blue VGC 1.0) don't seem to load the .css

Now we need another mass banning of all the staff and we are good.

That wayback thingy made me actually realise that my first visit to the side must have been in 2008 or really late in 2007 - also, sadly most of the displayed side states don't work for me... still, it makes me remember awesome VGC 2.x ;P

What's the story behind that one?

I'm not sure if it was naz, but one of the mods banned ioi, in fact I think there may have been two occasions of this (of course ioi can unban himself without much hassle, but it was funny none-the-less)

It may actually have been the same as the drunken ioi banning people when Lewis Hamiltion lost the F1 championship story. Some members stated that "kimi deserved to win" (Kimi Raikkonen if you are unfamiliar with F1 drivers) and ioi started banning anyone who said that or something similar, this escalated to include mods, and then some mods were lifting the bans and eventually banned ioi (I didn't think naz was a high ranking mod back then though, so this could be a different story to what moreoingrato is thinking of)

I was a bit late to the 'party' which meant when I chimed in with my 'Kimi deserved to win' ioi had just gone offline... as such I escaped a ban, the only time I have ever come close to getting banned as far as I know.

I think it was before the F1 thing but there was also the time Benkenobi banned himself (I dunno if he had just become a mod, or perhaps he mis-clicked).
