Well I don't see Sony being in a financial positon to release a new console until atleast 2014. Both ms and nintendo can pretty much release one whenever they want to but I think 2012 seems like the logical launch time. I'm still not sure if will even see a ps4, I could see Sony selling off the brand as part of their restructuring plan

In generations 1-6 the console with the highest sales has had the longest life. I don't see why in gen 7 it'll be the most powerful console that lasts longest

I don't know, agree with PS4 and Xbox x-2 (a name I did), btu Nintendo is realyy unpredictable nowdaus so I don't know what to think....

Uh PS3 vs Wii 2 and Xbox 3 will be like the N64 vs The X box and PS2. Not gonna happen. The Ps3 will be really outdated. Their won't be no muilt platform games. It will lose excluesives as soon as the other systems take off

I can't tell when the new releases will be, but i can imagine that Microsoft will try to release ahead of the Playstation agian, and concern themselves with Nintendo next. Sony will need to make the PS4 backwards compatible, and easier to program for, with more of a focus for the casual crowd. Nintendo...oh i have no idea, they lost me since the Gamecube on their decisions...so a very unpredictable company...they don't seem to listen to what the consumers want for console ideas, so...i guess we'll see motion controls again, but in HD.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the new wii will be on 2011. That is a fact.

im not sure but sony will have the same controller again and yawn it will be called PS4

both the 360 and ps3 have untapped potential that hasn't been touched upon yet, especially the latter. however with experimentation from developers hopefully we don't need to have another generation of systems anytime soon since most of us isn't willing to throw down another 400-600 bucks just yet.
