Well, you will see them in October because apparently, Sony Japan are making the new avatars, not SCEA/SCEE.

i dont undertand why its so hard for sony to make them, well they gavent updated the avatars since late 2006 when the PS3 launched so, they must be ready with loads, and i mean LOADS but they wont, they will add about 10 a year

well I expect that they are busy with fixing all the firmware 3.0 complaints. They fixed a major one with 3.01 but they have a long way to go.

They will give people an option to lower the font size, and that's all.

And maybe, just maybe, an option to turn your friend list back to normal, which wouldn't take more than a few minutes for them.

Who cares ? They are pointless anyway. I haven't even set dynamic theme for my ps3 yet.

Do they mean like Gamerpics avatars? or Mii/360 avatars?
