if you were to purchase a console in the states, which would you choose? which is the better console

its a tough choice but after having a good think about it, ive seem to have settled on a PS3 slim as the best console

If I were to buy any console again. I would go for the X360 Arcade.

Well I already have a PS3 80gb and a Wii. I did have a Xbox 360 20gb at one time but sold it to my brother-in-law, which I regret a little.  I miss my Halo 3.

Anyways, I personally think that the new 120gb PS3 Slim is the better deal.  It has built in wifi, plays Blu-ray, and free online service.  Oh, it's also a great upconverter for DVD's.  As for the online services, I know that Xbox Live is a better service but at $50 a year, for us poor folk, it's a bit much.

I would love to get the new PS3 slim and a Xbox 360 Elite but I have a few things I have to pay off first before I can do so.  I would most likely get the Xbox 360 Elite first so that I can play me some Halo 3 and H3:ODST.  However, we'll see which one I buy first when that time, when I get the money, comes.

well the $199 aracde is the reason i think it may pip ps3 sales this fall you cant take that away from microsoft,

but if you personally bought an arcade would you leave it as it is and use it as it is?

It would be close between a Slim and Wii but in the end I would go for a Wii because it's line up is better for my personal taste in games and being able to play GC games...
Though I'm probably going to buy a Slim around Dec-Feb unless Sony does something big to kick me in the nuts...

I have a Xbox 360 Pro that is now out of warranty. I would use the Arcade for a back up

well i hope u end up getting a ps3. with the new features and games coming out you wont be dissapointed, hopefully vidzone can make it out in NA this year its flippin brilliant.
