I will probably get one eventually for Blu-ray and the exclusives I've missed, but for now I just don't have time for that second job.

@amp316, yes for the best graphical capabilties of PC games, but Sony's first and 2nd party games are really very good.

I'm talking Australian dollars. And that's $600 for the 40gb.

I'll never give sony even 1 penny, i will get a ps3 and some games for it but everything will be 2nd hand.

Therefore sony will never get any money directly from me.

It's very unlikely that I will be getting a PS3. It would have to be much, much cheaper and include backwards compatability.

I definitely wouldn't buy one until I have an HDTV, and that is probably a few years away for me (after grad school).

It would be nice to have one but I just don't have the money and I don't see myself playing it that much. I do want to play LBP though.
