Forums - Gaming - GamesRadar's Leipzig preliminary reviews.

My favorite videogames related website (sans VGChartz), GamesRadar, has released its preliminary reviews of the games it played at the Leipzig Gaming Convention. Here are some preliminary reviews of notable games. Note: some of the games are multiplatform, but the system listed is the system they played it on. It is not meant to indicate that the game is exclusive to that console.

Mirror's Edge-PS3: Received a 9/10.

DeadSpace-X360: Received a 9/10

Killzone 2 Multiplayer-PS3: Received a 5/10

MotorStorm: Pacific Rift-PS3: Received a 6/10

Resident Evil 5-X360: Received an 8/10

Fallout 3-X360: Received a 10/10

After reading their preliminary reviews, I am even more stoked to play DeadSpace and Fallout 3. What did you think of the preliminary reviews?

Why does Gamesradar make me hate them so?

How do you "review" a game with 10 minutes of playtime?

I really didn't like Motorstorm. IF they haven't changed the gameplay, I'm not surprised the sequel isn't getting good previews.

Also, no matter how good it looks, I cannot bring myself to care about Fallout 3.

Which it is... I can't help but wonder about, what is is that is different at GamesRadar, as everyone else seem very positive about both Motorstorm and the Killzone 2 MP.

Because they play your most hyped PS3 exclusives then tell you they are not the Sony-saviours you were hoping for?

Jks.

Perhaps there are quality-related reasons a 4-5 year development time, $60 million+ shooter got bumped to February........

yeah weird, all other sites have been very positive to killzone 2.

Well i am not getting to hyped over Kz2 anyway, its best to stay on the safe side.

Killzone: Liberation wasn't done until Mid-2006, then they started work on KZ2 afer that.  So that's 2.5 years, rather than 4-5.  And the sixty million is speculation.

But this wasn't about Killzone 2, it was about how any game can get a score after ten minutes of playtime.

But if you'd like to turn this into a Killzone 2 argument, I'm more than happy to have a convo about this and how you are grossly incorrect in your assumption that there are quality reasons for delay.

But if you'd like to end your sordid attempt at trolling, be my guest, since you're about as off-topic as you could get.

I think the $60 million figure has come up enough times for us to think it is quite possible, particularly given the developmental resources we know have been dedicated to this game.  They presented the KZ2 trailer at E3 2005 did they not?  Do you have a link indicating that Guerilla (which I believe now has some 125 staff) didn't begin KZ2 until after Liberation?

Do you have some evidence contrary to GamesRadar's hands-on opinion that Killzone 2's multiplayer is sub-par?

Motorstorm was a quality game, and Pacific Rift looks awesome. And i dont care about Killzone 2.

If they had given Resistance 2 a 6, i would have found their HQ and burned it to the ground.

And Starcraft- why no love for Fallout 3? It looks epic

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD
