Exactly, and SMTV is Switch game, no more no less

For now.

This is Atlus we are talking about, there is a good chance its probably not leaving Switch considering Atlus rarely makes multiplats and none of their games ever seem to be timed exclusive.

Yeah, just like SMTIV, IV Apocalypse and Strange Journey are 3ds so far

Old released games. SMTV has not even released yet.

Atlus is always hard to predict. We will have to see, maybe they'll look at the 3.2 million Persona sales on Playstation and decided to put SMTV on it as well.

Considering they haven't even ported Persona to Switch or PC, both platforms that a decent size JRPG fanbase, I don't see that happening.

EDIT

Hell Persona 4 Golden hasn't even escaped the Vita and there is no definitive version of Persona 3 yet, hell they won't even re-release the original releases on the PS4 viva its PS2 emulator. If anything Atlus in general doesn't see much interest in even porting its backcatelogue to any modern system which is arguably a bigger deal and more baffling then SMTV not being on PS4 or Persona 5 not being on Switch, despite the success of Persona 5 and SMT4.

It would the other way if anything considering Persona's massive success on PS4. SMTV would be tested on PS4 first.

SMTIV Apocalypse came out in 2015, ps4 sales was already high, yet it still skipped ps4, or Strange Journey Redux in 2017, ignored ps4 again

So? 3DS is incredibly weak compared to PS4, while SW is not. Many SW games have gotten PS4 ports: NMH, Yokai Watch 4, Super Bombaman R.

We will see in time if PS4 gets SMTV on release.

None of those games are on 3ds, and if ps4 gets SMTV, then Switch definitely will have Persona 5 Royal

Those three didn't sell well on PS4 if anything they are an argument against porting Switch games to PS4 due to poor sales.

SMTV on PS4 is about as likely as Persona 5 is on Switch in that the chances are higher then 0, but no where near guaranteed due to Atlus's strange porting habits in general.

Though thanks to the Korean rating broad, there have been some credible rumors about Catherine Fully Body coming to Switch, so if that sells well that could change Atlus's stance on keeping their games tied to one hardware.

It’s so weird that you think there’s a possibility for SMTV to come to PS4 but little to no chance for P5 to come to Switch. Considering the lack of a SMT fan base on PS4 (with the 3DS getting SMTIV, Apocalypse, and Strange Journey), you think the Switch cannot build a fan base for Persona 5 as well?

It's simply because Persona is a 4 year old game, to which both Nintendo and Atlus have already talked about, and to which the only answer Nintendo got was P5S a spin off. If Persona was going to happen it would have happened by now. My speculation is Persona and Sony are tied closely together.

Meanwhile SMTV has not even released yet. SMT and Persona share a lot of similarities, P5 sold 3.2 million on PS4/3 and SMT has a long history with Playstation. There's plenty of data showing SMTV being a success on PS4 and since it has yet to be released, I think its viable.
