The Outer Worlds is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 25, 2019.
I haven't seen this before. It looks pretty cool, and is also coming to Switch, so I'll keep it in my radar.
Can’t wait to play this for basically free via gamepass
Very interested to see how the Switch version turns out.
It's being handled by Virtuos, the guys behind the Switch ports of Starlink, Dark Souls, and LA Noire. Starlink is the closest point of comparison as an actual current gen game that was ported across very well, but this looks on another level in terms of technical complexity. I have no doubt it can be done in light of games like Witcher 3 and Hellblade, the question is, is Virtuos up to the challenge?
I'm honestly surprised there's not more hype for this game in general given the pedigree of its developer and that it seems like the sort of thing most gamers love. (Action/RPG hybrid with colourful/quirky setting)Last edited by curl-6 - on 18 October 2019
Bet with Liquidlaser: I say PS5 and Xbox Series will sell more than 56 million combined by the end of 2023.
Looks interesting. Sadly, as a pc gamer, I have to boycott it because it's an Epic Store exclusive. Well, what can you do.
