Actually pretty sure it was just a joke, the higher-ups on the DMC team are pretty cheeky.
That's great for a franchise that consistently sells at around 3 million. I just hope it can get to 3 million by April 8th, because I'm pretty sure I've said various times that I could see it selling 3-3.5 million in a month.

Well I mean, most companies including Nintendo give their shipped numbers, not sold. It doesn't really matter as to the companies it's a sale.
