Not amazing but not terrible. Hope to see Octopath Travelers (this teams next game) sell over 1 million.

Considering evrything and how much asset it used from the first game, it did really well.Expected worse

Not terrible, but not impressive.

That is way more than I would have expected. I honestly don't think "Bravely" needed to be a franchise with recurring characters and stuff. I would much rather they went the Final Fantasy route with a whole new setting every time. But I guess that would have required SE to give them an actual budget instead of asking them to make due with whatever was left over from the first game.

Good numbers to be honest. The game has been on sale for $20 lately, hopefully that'll push a few thousand more units. Nintendo themselves are selling it for $20 on eBay.

I'm surprised more people weren't turned off from the first game and true ending tedium. Second's definitely a better game, and deserves higher sales...but I can't blame people not wanting to try the franchise again after how the last 1/3 of Default played out.

I really hope that Octopath Traveler has a solid game flow, and isn't eight nearly identical stories that are needed to get the true ending.

Edit: Not trying to rag on either game. I had issues with Default, but I liked the gameplay enough to buy Second at launch. I just assume most people aren't me.

That's decent. Despite this being a better game than the 1st one I still have a hard time recommending it over the 1st one since Second makes a lot of references to the 1st one. To the point where you FEEL like you are missing out by not playing the 1st one. So seond doing worse than the first is no surprise to me. 

I hope Braverly 3rd picks up on what happens with [Ending Spoilers] Ringabel 

I still need to get Bravely Default as well as second.
