Dishonored is one of my favorite stealth games so I hope the stealth mechanic remains untouched and that they didn't change it in favor of a more action oriented game.

I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition for no other reason than I am abusing my 20% off Prime discount. I like getting useless goodies though, so there's that.

I'm loving the steam punk and gameplay - reminds me of Bioshock.

If you pre order the 2nd game you get the first game's GOTY for free.... I think, I'm not sure if I seen it right but still, wouldn't pre order a game for this but if you were interested you could look into it.

You do realize that you can run through Dishonored killing everyone, with no stealth at all, right? Stealth is only an option. But you do get a much better ending if you're stealthy and don't kill people.

They were killing everyone in the video.  Do you know if that mechanism is coming back?  I tried to avoid killing, as rat swarms were icky.

Yes, it is coming back, but I think they said it's not as black and white this time. There are multiple endings for high and low chaos, and different actions have different weights in the chaos system, so you could potentially kill guards then offset it by sparing your mission target for instance.

Hm.  That's interesting.  I'll have to look into that before I play so I can decide which course I'll take.  Then again, I'll probably play both characters at least once.
