Anyone playing Fallout 4 on PC can now begin browsing and using mods. Bethesda announced today that it has opened the beta process up to the entire community

Head to the link for more info, the copy paste function was being a dick with formatting so.  Anyway, who's looking forward to mods coming?  I can't wait, usually the best shit comes when the community gets their hands on the tools :)

Cool! Waifu mods here I come!

A lot of mods have been out for a while already on PC. I think I'm running around 25 right now. The Creation Kit is going to increase the amount of people who can make mods and it's going to let people work with functions they can't access at the moment. I'm looking forward to the same volume and variety we had with Skyrim and New Vegas/FO3.

I'm got to say, mods improve the game by a ton. Like Armorsmith Extended, for example, which lets you add Ballistic Weave to anything and lets you wear any clothing under your armor, or Spring Cleaning, which lets you scrap all kinds of buildings and junk you couldn't touch before. Snappable Junk Fences nearly made me weep with joy.

Oh, and Armorsmith lets you build a rocket pack you can use WITHOUT power armor. It's awesome, since I dislike power armor.

Console people have a lot to look forward to.

Yes, and yes.  I've been wanting to see the consoles get mods for ages, and I'm really glad it's finally happening.  Maybe after they experience how badass the modding community is, they'll realize that PC Gamer's weren't bullshitting about how much better games can be when the players have access to these tools (as well as mapmaking and server tools).  It builds extremely strong communities around these games and I can't wait for console owners to get into it :)

I ... want that horse armor.
