IMO, the Wii has a BUNCH of hidden/underappreciated gems.

Agreed.

One Wii game I always go back to--- Forune Street. basically monopoly with a ton more money, different boards, and instead of the usual 1-2 hours, you need to get through about 8-10 hours before the round even starts to be interesting. I have legitimately played rounds of Fortune Street that have lasted for over 2 days and I have no regrets.

Mario Sports Mix.

Ridiculously fun, but for some reason, no one talked about it much.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

i played so much Mario galaxy 2, harvest moon animal parade, warioware smoth moves, cod black ops and zelda twilight princess in my wii :p

(=^・ω・^=) Kuroneko S2 - Ore no Imouto - SteamMyAnimeList and Twitter - PSN: Gustavo_Valim - Switch FC: 6390-8693-0129 (=^・ω・^=)

I had tons of fun with RE: Umbrella Chronicles. Also, No More Heroes 1/2 were pretty great too.

And, so sorry about this, but I really liked Just Dance 2. Not because it's a great game, but because it worked for me as a party game with friends XD.

Some that come to mind for me:

Little King's Story: A quirky little RTS about genocide, polygamy, and religion.

Medal of Honor Heroes 2: Very few games use the Wiimote as well as this one. Not only is the pointer aiming smooth and tight, but motion controls are used in a number of inventive yet tasteful ways, like pumping the nunchuk to pump a shotgun, or rotating the remote to dial in with a sniper rifle.

Project Zero 2: Wii Edition: Superb old school horror, the perfect bone-chilling antidote for the action-horror craze.

No More Heroes 1 & 2: Crude, cheesy, ridiculous, yet all the more entertaining for it.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories: Excellent controls, atmosphere, storytelling, and some of the best graphics on the system.

I recently played Rhythm Heaven Fever.

It's certainly not the most underrated thing, but if you've never played a game in the series, it's a really charming game that you should definitely give a shot.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

A couple that come to mind:

1) Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles:

I thought about including this one considering I much I love it, but it sold a million and a half units, so I wouldn't call it overlooked, really.

It sold alot more than I thought! Still I feel like it's barely talked about especially with RE 4 Wii Edition being a thing (motion controls aking it the best version according to some).

Madworld.

God that game till this day makes me smile.

Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors was really cool I thought.
